Originally established in 1955, as Demmon School of Beauty, On January 1, 2015, the school was purchased by Avery James, LLC and operated as Avery James School of Cosmetology until May of 2022 when the name was changed to Avery James College.
Avery James College has a rich history along with great experience. We are very proud of all the successful graduates that have entered the cosmetology profession over the years. We have always been dedicated to providing the finest career training to all our students, enabling them to grow both personally and professionally with the confidence that they are well versed in their respective fields of study. In pursuit of this goal, the school employs qualified teachers and utilizes modern equipment and facilities.

Avery James College is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education. The Commission of the Council on Occupational Education is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
